Sewage Backup into the Bathtub

The photos shown above was sewage backup into the bathtub. The person living in this house attempted to use a plunger several times but she was unsuccessful. Fortunately, she called SERVPRO within hours. Our crew was able to spot the blockage that is caught in the drain. Since its not a lot of fun to reach in and pull the clog out, our crew has decided to use a snake which is a long flexible steel cable. They fed the snake down through the overflow plate opening, turning it and pushing forward. Our trained crew was able to break up the clog and cleaned the bathtub, "Like it never even happened."
